Medical Elective Students are welcome, maximum two students at a time. Interested students should apply (by post or email) to the Medical Superintendent, stating the following (briefly):

Students should be aware that the Hospital is founded by the Church of Uganda (Anglican) and staff and visitors alike are expected to respect the church morals and ethics. Each day starts with staff prayers and notices at 8am. The normal working day finishes at 5pm. Accommodation is preferred in the Church Guest House costing £3.50 per night per person ($6). Alternatively, there are various Guest Houses in Kabale Town which can be arranged privately. See "Volunteer Guidelines" for more information.
